For a while I went without doing any art just because I like being lazy and having no drive to work on anything. A big tip I can give you is to be active with other artists and feed off of there passion for creativity. I'm not going to lie I abandon a lot of artwork because I just don't have the drive to sink like 15 hours into something im not interested in lol. So i will put it down and come back and work on it some more later with fresh eyes. I will draw or paint something and immediately hate it. Having a lot of reference images is good too that way you can better have an idea of what kinds of details, textures lighting you might want to add. Sometimes I even sketch over my paintings on a different layer if I am not sure how I want something to look or the painting is looking strange. I usually start out with for example " Ship I the distance" as a foundation painting or sketch and gradually add more detail as I progress. Hey Peter, I was looking at your work and it look to me as you have a great base foundations for some awesome artwork. You really do feel his unrelenting despair at knowing he would die like this. I love the light reflecting off the water and the knight, and the pose you chose for him. Jokes aside, this is glorious artwork and definitely a worthy piece of fanart to a great series. A really cool armor set, though I really just don't like the back view of it, and how it looks like a very cheap material, rather than something like leather.

Years of loyal servitude. Now you feel despair for the knight in his very final moments.
